A member of the NRA Board of Directors from 1993-2002, Donn currently serves on the Finance, Legislative Policy, Clubs & Associations, Range Development and Smallbore Rifle Committees. NRA Benefactor member, 32 year Secretary and Life member of the Rhode Island State Rifle & Revolver Association. In forty years of leadership. as Legislative Director and lobbyist, Donn serves as a strong gun rights leader in RI and nationally. In his fierce defense of the Second Amendment, self-defense and firearm freedoms, Donn is known as a very effective advocate. Donn has successfully fostered hunter harassment, and firearms preemption, and prevented all Massachusetts-type bans, licensing. registration and restriction schemes from becoming law in RI.
